The Earth is vast and ever-changing. Fortunately, satellite imagery can help us keep up with the state of the world, provided you know where to look. Felt lets you easily upload, annotate and share raster imagery, making it easy to tell a story about your data and quickly get feedback from clients and stakeholders.

Getting your team on Felt

First of all, let’s get your team on Felt! Set up a team for your entire organization or on a per-project basis by following the steps in Setting up your Team:

Importing raster imagery

Bring in your GeoTIFFs by using Felt’s Upload Anything tool (or simply drag-and-drop into the app!). Or if you already have a tiled URL source, add it in the Felt menu (top-left corner) by clicking on **File > Add from URL...**

Selecting a custom background

Tiled raster URLs can also be set as the background instead of using Felt’s default basemap. Learn more in Custom Backgrounds & Satellite Imagery

Annotating your map

Use the Toolbar to add notes and images to your map, highlight regions of interest or even Extract buildings and administrative regions straight out of the basemap.

Annotations are great for collaboratively gathering notes and sharing design concepts. Learn more in Annotating and Styling Elements.

Grouping Elements is a great way to prepare different scenarios and allow users to toggle visibility between them.
