Comments are a great way for other users to interact on your map. Add one by clicking on the Comment button (speech bubble icon) in the top-right corner, then clicking on your desired location in the map.
All unresolved comments are visible in the Comments list (toggle it on or off using the View menu or by clicking on the Comments button). Clicking on a comment in the list will take you to the same view that the commenter was seeing.
By default, only editors can add comments to a map. However, public comments can be enabled in the Share menu (top-right corner). Learn more in the Public Commenting page.
Only users with edit permissions on a map can view other users’ comments. Neither anonymous users nor logged in viewers can view other users’ comments
